Spooner / Burnett Bantams are going to state, the PeeWees will be hosting state so they get an automatic berth, the Squirts had a hard fought battle and lost in OT, and the Northern Exposure Girls U-12 / U-14 / U-19's are all going to State!!

Our Learn to Skaters wrapped up their season at the end of January. Thank you to all the parents, skaters and volunteers for making this another successful season. We consistently had about 35-40 skaters come out each night. For the remainder of the season, we encourage your skater to use their rental equipment at the outdoor rink. Please watch the website for the equipment rental return date in Mid-March.
Registration for the Kohlman Cup is now open. The Kohlman Cup gives Pee Wee players from throughout the state the opportunity to represent their region and play against the best Pee Wee's in the state. Complete information can be found at this link.
The Spooner/Burnett Bantam team won their home tournament January 27-29, making it the second weekend in a row they have claimed a tournament championship. They capped of the tournament with a come from behind 3-2 victory against a very tough Tomahawk team.

The Northwest Sports Complex in downtown Spooner is a wonderful venue for hosting tournaments. The complex includes Jersey's Sports Bar and Grill. There is shopping and other dining establishments just down the street. Click on the link to learn more about the Northwest Sports Complex.
The Spooner Youth Hockey Association was notified that it was selected to host the 2012 Pee Wee State Tournament. It will take place March 11-12, 2012.
