2023-2024 Season

Spooner Area Youth Hockey is for players of all ages from Mite (2015)- Bantam (2009). We also offer a learn to skate and learn to play hockey option for those ___and under.

Hockey season begins the end of October and typically runs through mid March.

Home games will take place at the Spooner Civic Center.

Practices will be held either at the Spooner Civic Center or the outdoor rink at the Spooner City Park.

The amount of games will vary with each age level. The younger groups will have less games and focus more on skill development. As the skaters progress each age group will have more games while still focusing on skill development specific to each level.

Jerseys and socks will be handed out at the beginning of the season by your team manager. Both jerseys and socks will need to be washed and returned at the end of the season. If not returned at the end of the season then SAYHA will charge to replace the missing items.

Equipment: If you need to rent equipment from SAYHA there is a $25 fee.

Tournaments: Throughout the season you may be asked for extra funding to participate in tournaments. Team managers will inform you about opportunities and associated costs.

Other expenses: Other costs may include funding for end of the year parties.
